Light Reset without using a computer   

WARNING

CTS 2002-onwards
With navigation system. Press "PWR/VOL" button. Press "INFO" button. Turn "TUNE/SEL" knob until "ENGINE OIL LIFE" is chosen. Press and
hold "RESET" button until oil life displays "100%".

DeVille 1994-1997
With DIC: Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Push info button until "OIL LIFE" is displayed. Press and hold "CLR" or "RESET" button until "100%" is
displayed.
With navigation system: With engine running, press "PWR/VOL" button. Press and hold "INFO" until information menu is entered. Select
ENGINE OIL LIFE. Press and hold "RESET" button until "100%" is displayed.

DeVille 1998
With DIC: Turn ignition to "RUN" position. Press the "TRIP" button until "OIL LIFE REMAINING" is displayed. Press and hold "RESET" until "100%"
is displayed. Turn ignition off.

DeVille 1999-2005
With DIC: Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Push info button until "OIL LIFE" is displayed. Press and hold "CLR" or "RESET" button until "100%" is
displayed.
With navigation system: With engine running, press "PWR/VOL" button. Press and hold "INFO" until information menu is entered. Select
ENGINE OIL LIFE. Press and hold "RESET" button until "100%" is displayed.

Eldorado 1994-1997
With DIC: Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Push info button until "OIL LIFE" is displayed. Press and hold "CLR" or "RESET" button until "100%" is
displayed.

Eldorado 1998
With DIC: Turn ignition to "RUN" position. Press the "TRIP" button until "OIL LIFE REMAINING" is displayed. Press and hold "RESET" until "100%"
is displayed. Turn ignition off.

Eldorado 1999-2002
With DIC: Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Push info button until "OIL LIFE" is displayed. Press and hold "CLR" or "RESET" button until "100%" is
displayed.
With navigation system: With engine running, press "PWR/VOL" button. Press and hold "INFO" until information menu is entered. Select
ENGINE OIL LIFE. Press and hold "RESET" button until "100%" is displayed.

Escalade 1999-onwards
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Slowly depress accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. "CHANGE OIL SOON" lamp will flash.
Turn ignition off. Start engine. Oil life will display 100%.

Fleetwood 1994-1995
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Slowly depress accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. "CHANGE OIL SOON" lamp will flash.
Turn ignition off. Start engine. Oil life will display 100%.
With DIC: Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Push info button until "OIL LIFE" is displayed. Press and hold "CLR" or "RESET" button until "100%" is
displayed.
With navigation system: With engine running, press "PWR/VOL" button. Press and hold "INFO" until information menu is entered. Select
ENGINE OIL LIFE. Press and hold "RESET" button until "100%" is displayed.

Seville 1994-1997

With DIC: Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Push info button until "OIL LIFE" is displayed. Press and hold "CLR" or "RESET" button until "100%" is
displayed.
With navigation system: With engine running, press "PWR/VOL" button. Press and hold "INFO" until information menu is entered. Select
ENGINE OIL LIFE. Press and hold "RESET" button until "100%" is displayed.

SRX 2003-onwards
With DIC: Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Push info button until "OIL LIFE" is displayed. Press and hold "CLR" or "RESET" button until "100%" is
displayed.
With navigation system: With engine running, press "PWR/VOL" button. Press and hold "INFO" until information menu is entered. Select
ENGINE OIL LIFE. Press and hold "RESET" button until "100%" is displayed.

STS 2005-onwards
Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Press the up arrow button to the left of the steering wheel until "ENGINE OIL LIFE" is displayed. Press and hold
the "RESET" button until "100%" is displayed.

XLR 2005-onwards
Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Press the top button to the right of the steering wheel until "ENGINE OIL LIFE" is displayed. Press and hold the
"RESET" button until "100%" is displayed
