Light Reset without using a computer

Chevrolet

Avalanche2002-2008
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Slowly depress accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. "CHANGE ENGINE OIL" lamp will flash.
Turn ignition off. Start engine. Oil life will display 100%.

With DIC:
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press "FUEL INFORMATION" button repeatedly until "OIL LIFE" is displayed. Press and hold
button with the arrow pointing left until "100%" is displayed.

Camaro 1999-2002
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press and hold "TRIP/OIL RESET" button until "OIL CHANGE" stops flashing and extinguishes. Turn ignition off.

Chevy Van/Express 2003-onwards
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Slowly depress accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. "CHANGE ENGINE OIL" lamp will flash.
Turn ignition off. Start engine. Oil life will display 100%.

Cobalt2005-onwards
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press the "i" button and the button with the arrow pointing left at the same time. Press the "i" button until
"OIL-LIFE RESET" is displayed. Press and hold the button with the arrow point left button until "ACKNOWLEDGED" is displayed. Turn ignition off.

Colorado 2004-onwards
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press the button below the speedometer until "OIL-LIFE" is displayed. "OIL LIFE" and "RESET" will flash.
Press and hold button until three chimes are heard. Turn ignition off.

Corvette 1997-2000
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press the trip button. "OIL LIFE" percentage is displayed. Press and hole "RESET" button until "RESET" isdisplayed followed by "OIL LIFE 99%". Turn ignition off.

Corvette2001-2005

Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press "TRIP" button. "OIL LIFE" percentage is displayed. Press and hold "RESET" button until
"OIL LIFE REMAIN 100%" is displayed. Turn ignition off.

Equinox 2005-onwards
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Slowly depress accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. "CHANGE OIL SOON" lamp will flash. Turn ignition off.

Impala2000-onwards
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Slowly depress accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. "CHANGE ENGINE OIL" lamp will flash.
Turn ignition off. Start engine. Oil life will display 100%.

With RDS:
Turn radio off. Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press and hold large, lower-lefthand button on radio until "SETTINGS" is displayed.
Press "SEEK/PTYPE" or "SEEK/PSCAN" to scroll through menu until "OIL LIFE" is displayed. Press "PREV/NEXT" to enter submenu. "RESET"
will display. Press the large button again, a chime will sound and "DONE" will be displayed. Press "SEEK/PTYPE" or "SEEK/PSCAN" until "EXIT" isdisplayed. Press the large button again to exit, a chime will sound.

Lumina1998-2001
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Slowly depress accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. "CHANGE ENGINE OIL" lamp will flash.
Turn ignition off. Start engine. Oil life will display 100%.

Monte Carlo 1998-2006
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Slowly depress accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. "CHANGE ENGINE OIL" lamp will flash.
Turn ignition off. Start engine. Oil life will display 100%.

Silverado 1999-onwards
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Slowly depress accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. "CHANGE ENGINE OIL" lamp will flash.
Turn ignition off. Start engine. Oil life will display 100%.

SSR 2003-onwards
Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Press "FUEL INFORMATION" button until "ENGINE OIL LIFE" is displayed. Press and hold button with thearrow pointing left until "100%" is displayed. Turn ignition off.

Suburban 1996-onwards
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Slowly depress accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. "CHANGE ENGINE OIL" lamp will flash.
Turn ignition off. Start engine. Oil life will display 100%.

With DIC:
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press "FUEL INFORMATION" button until "ENGINE OIL LIFE" is displayed. Press and hold button withthe arrow pointing left until "OIL LIFE RESET" is displayed.

Tahoe 2000-onwards
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Slowly depress accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. "CHANGE ENGINE OIL" lamp will flash.
Turn ignition off. Start engine. Oil life will display 100%.

Trailblazer 2002-onwards
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Slowly depress accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. "CHANGE ENGINE OIL" lamp will flash.
Turn ignition off. Start engine. Oil life will display 100%.

With DIC:
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press "FUEL INFORMATION" button repeatedly until "OIL LIFE" is displayed. Press and hold
button with the arrow pointing left until "100%" is displayed.

Uplander 2005-onwards
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press button with the arrow pointing left until "OIL" is displayed. Press and hold button until oil life displays "100%".
Turn ignition off.

Venture 2000
Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Slowly depress accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. "CHANGE ENGINE OIL" lamp will flash.
Turn ignition off. Start engine. Oil life will display 100%.

Venture 2001-2005
With DIC: Turn ignition to the "RUN" position with engine off. Press button to the right of the temperature gauge until "OIL" is displayed. Press andhold button until "100%" is displayed. Turn ignition off.
