Light Reset without using a computer

Ford Escape 2005-onwards

Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press "SET" button until "PRESS SET FOR SYS CHECK" is displayed. Press button again. Press and hold button
until "OIL CHANGE SET TO 100%" is displayed. Turn ignition off.

Explorer1995-2001

Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Press and hold "OIL CHANGE RESET" button until new oil life percentage is displayed.

Explorer 2002-onwards

Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press "SETUP" button. Press "RESET" button. Press and hold "RESET" button until "IF NEW OIL HOLD RESET"
is displayed. Press and hold "RESET" button until "OIL LIFE RESET TO 100%" is displayed.

Five Hundred 2005-onwards

With DIC: (If "CHANGE OIL SOON" or "OIL CHANGE REQUIRED" is displayed.) Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press middle button on right
side of steering wheel until "OIL LIFE XX% RESET IF NEW" is displayed. Press bottom button on right side of steering wheel. Press and hold bottom button until "OIL LIFE IS RESET TO 100%" is displayed. Turn ignition off.

Without DIC: Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press button below speedometer until "OIL LIFE XX%" is displayed. Press and hold button until"OIL LIFE 100%" is displayed. Press button until odometer is displayed again.

Ford Galaxy

With the ignition off, press the reset button under the mileage counter. Hold in reset button whilst turning the ignition on. After about 4 or 5 seconds (up to 30 seconds in some cases) the display should reset itself Release the button and turn the ignition off, It may be necessary to repeat this process
