Light Reset without using a computer   

WARNING

Aviator 2003-onwards
Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Press "SETUP" button. "PRESS RESET FOR SYSTEM CHECK" is displayed. Press "RESET" button.
"OIL LIFE % HOLD RESET NEW" is displayed. Press and hold "RESET" button until "IF NEW OIL HOLD RESET" is displayed. Press and hold
"RESET" button until "OIL LIFE RESET TO 100%" is displayed.

Continental 1994
Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Press "SYSTEM CHECK" button. During check sequence, press "RESET" button. Reminder will begin to flash.
Press the "RESET" and "SYSTEM CHECK" buttons at the same time. Reminder is now reset.

LS 2000-onwards
Turn the ignition to the "ON' position. Press "STATUS" button. "OIL LIFE % RESET FOR NEW" is displayed. Press "RESET" button.
"IF NEW OIL HOLD RESET" is displayed. Press and hold "RESET" button until "OIL LIFE SET TO %" is displayed.

Mark VIII 1997-1998
Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Press "VEHICLE SETTINGS" button until "OIL CHANGE RESET" is displayed. Press and hold "RESET" button
until message counter counts down. "OIL LIFE RESET TO 100%" will be displayed.

Town Car 2004-onwards
Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Press "MODE" button until "OIL LIFE %" is displayed. Press and hold "MODE" button until "RESET FOR NEW
OIL LIFE" is displayed. Press "RESET" button. "100%" will be displayed.
