Light Reset without using a computer   

WARNING

VolkswagenEuroVan 1998-2003

 With the ignition "OFF", press and hold button below the speedometer. Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Release button. "SERVICE OIL" isdisplayed. Turn button below the tachometer to the right until "SERVICE ---" is displayed. Turn ignition off.

Golf 1994-1995
 Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Press and hold button below the speedometer. Turn ignition off. Release button. "OEL" is displayed. Pressbutton below the tachometer repeatedly until "-----" is displayed. Turn ignition to the "ON" position. "IN00" is displayed. Turn ignition off.

Golf 2000-2005
 Longlife service intervals require diagnostic tool. Fixed intervals: Press and hold button below the speedometer. Turn ignition to the "ON" position.
"SERVICE" is displayed. Release button. Turn button below the tachometer to the right until display is reset. Turn ignition off.

Jetta 1994-1995

 Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Press and hold button below the speedometer. Turn ignition off. Release button. "OEL" is displayed. Pressbutton below the tachometer repeatedly until "-----" is displayed. Turn ignition to the "ON" position. "IN00" is displayed. Turn ignition off.

Jetta 2000-2004
 Longlife service intervals require diagnostic tool. Fixed intervals: Press and hold button below the speedometer. Turn ignition to the "ON" position.
"SERVICE" is displayed. Release button. Turn button below the tachometer to the right until display is reset. Turn ignition off.

New Beetle 2000-onwards
 Longlife service intervals require diagnostic tool. Fixed intervals: Press and hold button below the speedometer. Turn ignition to the "ON" position.
Release button. "SERVICE" is displayed. Press and hold button again until "SERVICE" is no longer displayed. Turn ignition off.

Passat 2000-onwards
 Longlife service intervals require diagnostic tool. Fixed intervals: Press and hold button below the speedometer. Turn ignition to the "ON" position.
"SERVICE" is displayed. Release button. Turn button below the tachometer to the right until display is reset. Turn ignition off.

Phaeton 2004-onwards
 Requires diagnostic tool.

Touareg 2004-onwards
 Requires diagnostic tool.
