Light Reset without using a computer   

WARNING

Volvo 85 1994-1996

 With odometer below speedometer needle: Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Connect lead to terminal 7 on diagnostic terminal. Press button near lead4 times. LED is illuminated and ready. Press buton once. When LED illuminates, press button 5 times. When LED illuminates press button once. LEDwill flash. Turn ignition off.
With odometer above speedometer needle: Remove grommet from instrument panel. Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press button behind grommet.
Turn ignition off.

850 1996-199

940 1994-1995
 Remove grommet from instrument panel. Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press button behind grommet. Turn ignition off.

960 1994-1995
 Remove grommet from instrument panel. Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Press button behind grommet. Turn ignition off.

960 1996-1997
 Requires diagnostic tool.

C70 1998-2004
 With ignition "OFF", press and hold button to the right of the speedometer. Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Release button when service intervallight begins to flash. Turn ignition off.

S40 2000-2002
 With ignition "OFF", press and hold button below the speedometer. Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Release button when service interval lightflashes. Turn ignition off.

S40 2003-2004
 With ignition "OFF", press and hold button beween the speedometer and the tachometer. Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Release button whenservice interval light flashes. Turn ignition off.

S40 2005-onwards
 All doors must be closed. Turn the ignition to the "I" position. Press and hold button below the speedometer. Within 2 seconds, turn ignition to the "II"
position. Release button when yellow warning light lights up. Turn ignition off.

S60 2000-2001
 Turn the ignition to the "I" position. Press and hold button below the speedometer. Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Release button when serviceinterval light flashes. Turn ignition off.

S60 2001-onwards
 Turn the ignition to the "I" position. Press and hold button below the speedometer. Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Release button when servicemessage has been reset. Turn ignition off.

S70 1998-2000
 With ignition "OFF", press and hold button to the right of the speedometer. Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Release button when service intervallight begins to flash. Turn ignition off.

S80 1999-2001
 Turn the ignition to the "I" position. Press and hold button below the speedometer. Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Release button when serviceinterval light flashes. Turn ignition off.

S80 2001-onwards
 Turn the ignition to the "I" position. Press and hold button below the speedometer. Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Release button when servicemessage has been reset. Turn ignition off.

S90 1997-1998
 Requires diagnostic tool.

V40 2000-2002
 With ignition "OFF", press and hold button below the speedometer. Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Release button when service interval lightflashes. Turn ignition off.

V40 2003-2004
 With ignition "OFF", press and hold button beween the speedometer and the tachometer. Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Release button whenservice interval light flashes. Turn ignition off.

V50 2005-onwards

 All doors must be closed. Turn ignition to the "I" position. Press and hold button below the speedometer. Within 2 seconds, turn ignition to the "II"
position. Release button when yellow warning light lights up. Turn ignition off.

V70 1998-2000
 With ignition "OFF", press and hold button to the right of the speedometer. Turn ignition to the "ON" position. Release button when service intervallight begins to flash. Turn ignition off.

V70 2000-2001
